All profits made will go towards start up costs for The Lucky Black Cat Cafe - a prospective cafe in Newquay with adorable cats to pet whilst enjoying a cupcake or cup of tea and winding down from every day stresses.

Incredible local charity the Cornwall Air Ambulance is in need of a new helicopter; one that's faster, flies further has more space and the latest medical kit on board.

The charity is fully funded by donations and is so instrumental in saving lives in our home county.

Fund Raiser for The Wave Project with The Mugabees (Rock Covers)

Help us raise money for the fabulous Wave Project who provide surf therapy to children with various special needs: mental, physical and circumstantial. 

Rock covers band The Mugabees will be generously donating their time and talent for the cause! The Muggabees will be entertaining us with a wide range of songs to get the room going! From The Stones and the Clash, to Jet, Bruno Mars and Katie Perry they try to play songs that people love! 

So please come on down, support the cause and enjoy some cracking live music and some awesome positive vibes!

THIS IS A GREAT CAUSE....
The many beautiful cats that currently call Newquay's RSCPA Animal Centre their home, are in need of rain protection! The cats have lovely caged runs which allow them to spend time outdoors aswell as inside. The only problem is that when it rains they get soaked! Many of the cats are too frightened to come inside meaning they will sit out in the rain - they get very wet as does their bedding and blankets. SOGGY BEDS Oh no!!!

Whiskers is on a mission to raise £1500 for a roofed walkway outside the runs. This will protect the cats from the rain allowing them to comfortably relax outside whatever the weather.
We have the builders in place ready to do the work...we just need to raise the funds! 

So... come along and support this event, help us raise the cash and enjoy an evening of fun for the whole family!!

5.30pm Children's kitten fancy dress competition! 
Who can be the best cat or kitten?! £1 to enter the competition with all funds going towards the roof! Prize for best kitty announced at 7pm!


Plus a cat drawing competiion - who can draw the best kitty?! Winner announced at 7pm!
(Parents can perhaps enjoy a cocktail!!)

There will be a raffle and silent auction to get involved with; great prizes with all money going towards our kitten friends! 

Somebody from the fantastic Newquay RSPCA will be with us with information on cats who are in need of homes. Some of the cats have been with them for 2 years!! If you are thinking of rescuing a cat or kitten please come along and speak to the team. 

We will also be accepting gifts for the cats who are always in need of food, scratching posts, beds and toys. These can be new or second hand! Please bring them along on the night!!

We look forward to seeing you for a full evening of fun, prizes, cat info and the raising of the all important £1500 which will literally be a life changer for the cats and kittens who reside up the road : )

Whiskers is super excited to bring you an evening of fundraising to help buy surf equipment for the local people of Ghana. We also have the pleasure to be showing the premier of former European longboard champion and Finisterre Ambassador Sam Bleakley's short film 'Brilliant Corners Ghana'.

We have some great raffle prizes donated by Rip Curl, Globe, New Era, Northshore Surf Shop, Nike, Hurley, Dragon, Poolen, Stance, Volcom and Surfing life.

Entry fee will be £5 which includes 1 raffle tickets. More raffle tickets available to purchase on the night.

The film will play around 7.30pm followed by a short Q and A session. We will then be treated to tunes spun by local legend DJ Tim Nice.

All proceeds will go towards buying surfing equipment for the local surfers of Ghana - come and support this great cause!
